Salam , after death of our father inheritance process is completed . Our mother and 7 brothers and 1 sister alive , mother wants to hiba her share to one son only . Is there any legal issue and is it permissible according to law ?

Any property can be gift or hiba by any muslim, but the main thing is that the property must be executed on the time and should be registered, there is no issue if your mother gave her property to anyone who she wish to, there is no objection but the gift deed must be registered, mothers can gift her property to one son only.
